Pie Chart: Cell Population
Immune cell populations as a percentage of CD45+ leukocytes measured by flow cytometry.

Key findings
- Percentages alone support description, not inference: LabTools' proportion intervals take counts (successes out of n). See the Sunburst report for the same analysis with counts.
Composition
The pie is drawn from percentages of CD45+ cells. Confidence intervals for a proportion need the underlying cell counts, which this summary table does not include — the Sunburst example uses the counts behind a similar panel and reports Wilson intervals for every population.
| Cell type | % of CD45+ |
|---|---|
| T cells | 48.2% |
| B cells | 17.5% |
| NK cells | 11.3% |
| Monocytes | 14.6% |
| Dendritic cells | 2.9% |
| Other | 5.5% |
Summary of the six fractions
Location, spread and shape for every group — the first thing to read before choosing a test. Skewness near 0 and excess kurtosis near 0 are what a normal distribution looks like.
| Group | n | Mean | SD | SEM | Median | Q1 – Q3 | Min – Max | Skewness | Excess kurtosis |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| % of CD45+ | 6 | 16.67 | 16.38 | 6.689 | 12.95 | 6.95 – 16.77 | 2.9 – 48.2 | 1.85 | 3.86 |

Methods paragraph
Written to go straight into a manuscript.
T cells made up 48.2% of CD45+ cells, followed by B cells (17.5%), monocytes (14.6%) and NK cells (11.3%).
Every number on this page was computed by the LabTools statistics engine (version 0.14.3) from the example's CSV on 2026-09-23. Where a value was derived before the data reached LabTools (replicate means, paired differences, log odds ratios), the text says so. The data are simulated from a fixed random seed.
